Temperature options are selected with the complete construction, exposure duration and installation conditions. Voltage and current capacity depend on the chosen specification.

Typical use

Connections for high-temperature equipment.

Electromagnetic induction heatingHigh-temperature equipment connections

Tell us whether the wire is used in a winding or as a connection lead. Include heating frequency where applicable, conductor size, voltage and current.

Construction & selection

Temperature is the starting point.

01

Conductor system

Choose the temperature version and specify conductor material, size and current. The 600°C version is nickel-plated; the 800°C version uses pure nickel. The 500°C conductor is confirmed with the selected specification.

02

Mica insulation

The insulation system is selected for the complete electrical and thermal requirement. Include voltage, exposure duration and finished-diameter limits.

03

Equipment connection

Describe winding or lead use, the routing, termination and heating frequency where applicable. Include a drawing or reference sample when available.

Product questions

Before you choose.

Is 800°C the rating of every mica wire?

No. The 500°C, nickel-plated 600°C and pure-nickel 800°C versions are distinct options. Specify the intended version and confirm the complete construction.

Does a temperature value also confirm voltage or current capacity?

No. Voltage, conductor size, current, installation and exposure duration must be reviewed separately. Do not select a wire using temperature alone.

Does heat resistance prove a fire-survival certification?

No. A temperature rating does not establish a fire-survival test result. If your application requires circuit integrity during fire, specify the exact test and required duration for review.

Samples & repeat orders

Keep the specification with the order.

01 / First order

Define the cable

Prepare the model or drawing, operating conditions, quantity and destination. Include required documents and your requested delivery date.

02 / Sample request

Define what to check

Include the trial length and the dimensions or performance you need to evaluate. Sample availability, cost and timing are confirmed separately.

Prepare a sample request ↗
03 / Repeat order

Reference the approved version

Use the previous order, drawing revision or approved sample reference. State what stays the same and any changes in size, material, colour or packing.

Specification review

Have an existing wire to match?

Include its model, temperature variant and marking. For repeat orders, add the previous order or approved sample reference.
